Ductile Iron Pipes
Description
Ductile Iron Pipes is centrifugal casting by using raw material of spheroidal iron where the carbon is present in the form of small spheres, thus eliminating the risk of crack propagation and resulting in higher strength.
This is done by adding magnesium into molten iron, Therefore, the continuity of the iron matrix is maintained. providing excellent ductility, flexibility and impact resistance to iron.
Ductile Iron Pipes is using centrifugal casting method to produce as a tube form to cement lining internally, zinc coating and bitumen painting externally and push-in joint as known socket spigot joint to jointing the pipes. The manufactured sizes range from DN100mm to DN800mm in diameter in standard lengths of 6 meters.
Ductile Iron Pipes is certified by the Standard Industrial Research Institute Of Malaysia ( SRIM ) in compliance with BS EN 545:1995 and MS ISO 9002 Quality systems for Quality Assurance in Production, Installation and Servicing.
